Organization - Assign users to projects

Feature Request

The idea is to be able to assign members of my organization to one or multiple project.

The goal is to avoid a developer that work only on the project A to have an access to project B.

    Is there any ETA for this @Paweł Bylina? Are we considering adding this?
    In my company, we work on many projects and we would like to have the ability to invite people to projects and not organization.
    Also, do you think this would be something available to free or pro users? This is holding us to get a decision to get a pro version or not and to also consider bugbug or not on all of our projects.

      There is no ETA for this now. It will definitely be included in the paid plan, and we will probably implement the higher plan with role-based permission.

    Hey @Aslam Cassim .

    1. We don’t plan to limit users for specific tests. This granulation is too low in our opinion. Could you elaborate on this? What’s your use case?

    2. Option to assign a user for a specific project we have here: https://feedback.bugbug.io/p/organization-assign-users-to-projects

    3. Alerts are defined per project, so you can achieve this today.

      @Paweł Bylina thanks for the feedback, my apologies must have missed that topic. I have upvoted that project as that will be a requirement as well.

    Same as @Wilker Augusto. As a company having multiple projects with different teams, it’s really annoying that all members can see all projects and gets notified about all the projects. Some projects are really sensitive and no one except the specific team should be able to see it. We want to give a shot to bugbug but this is really a must-have feature please.

      Thank you for your feedback! At the moment, you can set up different organizations for different projects, but each one requires a separate payment. We're definitely planning to ship this feature this year, but we don't have an ETA yet.

    Super important one for us too! We’ve got multiple project teams and it’s pretty much essential for us to be able to have access control between projects.

    Doesn’t need to be anything overly complicated in our case… just Person A, B and C can see Project 1 and 2, etc.
