This feature has arrived. Combining multiple instances of the same component with Edit & Rewind presented us with a lot of technical challenges. We spent four months implementing it, but it's now live!
The official communication and documentation will be released within the next two weeks, but you can use it now if you are interested.

This is essential, in my opinion. Certain sequences of actions can be repeated in the same test. Sure, you can make it a group and duplicate it with an easily identifiable name, but if there's a change to any of the elements in that sequence, you'll still have to edit each group.

Yes all qa engineers need to unlink components in order to reuse them..so this is indeed bad practice. Looking forward to this fix

this is now becoming annoying - we are now having to duplicate components to reuse the steps.

Loving the component feature—it's been so helpful for our tests. One challenge, though: we can't add multiple instances of the same component in a single test, which makes repeated actions (like clicking the same button multiple times) difficult.
