New

Improved

πŸš€ New built-in variables: current page URL
You can now access the exact URL of the page under test directly in your steps. This makes it easier to validate redirects, dynamic routing, and multi-page flows.

See the feature request

πŸš€ Rename alerts for better organization
Managing multiple alerts is now simpler. You can assign custom names to alerts to keep them clear and well organized.

See the feature request

πŸš€ Outbound proxy configuration
You can now define the outbound proxy (IP location) for cloud test runs at the project level. This is ideal for testing geo-dependent content or region-specific app behavior.
Currently supported zones: USA, UK, Poland (more available on request).

πŸš€ Advanced reporting upgrades

We’ve expanded reporting options across paid plans. PRO users can download detailed PDF reports for single Test Runs and JUnit XML reports for single Suite Runs, while BUSINESS users can export Suite Run reports in PDF, CSV, JSON, and ZIP formats (including screenshots).

See the documentation for details.

Hey there!

We are excited to share the news that the Suite and Suite Run modules have been rebuilt for a smoother and faster experience. Now, you can edit Suites and see their last run state in one place.Β

With the redesign, we’ve also implemented several highly requested features:

- Add notes to Suites (just like in Tests).
- Deactivate individual tests within a Suite
- Add tests to a Suite directly from the test list
- View which Suites a test belongs to

πŸ”” Plus: You can now monitor BugBug’s system status anytime at status.bugbug.io.

New

You can now purchase parallel runs directly in the BugBug appβ€”no need to contact support.

Whether you're on the PRO or BUSINESS plan, it's easy:

πŸ‘‰ Go to the Subscription tab in the Organization settings,
πŸ‘‰ Choose the number of parallel runs you need,
πŸ‘‰ And proceed to checkout.

πŸ’‘ Why go parallel?

Parallel runs significantly speed up test execution.

For example, if a test suite takes 14 minutes to execute, adding one parallel run can cut the time in halfβ€”to just 7 minutes.

See how it works.

πŸš€ Description field for custom variables

A small but helpful improvement to help you efficiently manage a large number of custom variables.

πŸ”œ Reusable Components

We're working on a feature that allows you to use the same component multiple timesβ€”something we know many of you have been waiting for.

New

πŸš€ The Edit & Rewind feature opens up a new, smarter way to record and execute steps in a flexible way without waiting for the entire test to execute.

Now you can edit steps in the middle of your test and start the execution from any selected position, bypassing the need to wait for previous steps to complete.
